Improve curb appeal with decorative pavers
Decorative concrete pavers can dramatically improve your home’s exterior - quickly and cost-effectively. When installed correctly, interlocking concrete pavers should last a minimum of 30 years.
Before hiring a contractor, do some research. The following questions can help you find a reputable installer.
- How long have they been installing pavers?
- Have they been trained by a manufacturer or by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI)?
- Can they provide three client references, not only for recent jobs but past jobs as well?
- Can you contact their references and inspect the jobs?
- Do they have a portfolio of photos and letters?
- Do they have a current liability insurance certificate?
- Do they provide a written, itemized proposal outlining the scope of work and terms of payment?
- Do they guarantee their work for one year?
- Are they members of the ICPI or other associations?
